Verve have opened their Northern hub in the iconic Daily Express Building in Ancoats, Manchester and confirm team of 10.
Named as ‘One of the Coolest Postcodes to Move to in 2022’, Ancoats is ideally situated for the rapid expansion of the new team, particularly as Verve continue their focus on the development of new research talent.
Founder and CEO, Andrew Cooper comments:
“Our Manchester base offers a little bit of everything that makes Verve so exciting right now – we’ve got researchers at all different stages of their career, we’ve got those with different research specialisms and we have others coming in to develop new products and propositions to bring to the market in 2022. It’s also a fun and vibrant place for hybrid working – so, really, represents absolutely everything we want the business to be this year.”
Headed up by Kelly McKnight and supported by Kim Howard and Peter Latham who joined earlier this year, the team also includes long-standing Verve Director Graham Brown who has relocated from London. More recently they have been joined by Research Manager Ashleigh Waterhouse and three Graduates Charlie Lancaster, Emily Tutton and Laura Ryan.
Inaugural team member Ben McIntyre, who started as a Research Manager in December, says
“There’s been a real buzz in the Hub since we moved in a few weeks ago. Not only is the space itself great, but as new people have continued to join, we’re adding to the mix of skills and personalities all the time, so it’s a great place to learn and socialise too”
Further still, Cherry Huang also joins this week with further announcements about how her role fits into Verve’s strategy to come.
Kelly McKnight comments
“Verve, like Manchester, prides itself on doing things differently. Our Manchester Hub has got off to a great start with 10 people collaborating with colleagues and clients around the world - but this really is just the start. We plan to double the team in the next 6 months, creating even more great career opportunities for talented researchers who want all the benefits of true hybrid working.”
